Best coffee in Melbourne! I recently visited HomeGround and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The coffee was exceptional, with a rich and robust flavor that hit all the right notes. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to my visit. The team here are great. The coffee is good and there eggs are delicious. We work in the area and our team go every day. We get team breakfast here once a week, its really yum. Highly recommend

I popped in by chance here because it was near a parking spot right across the way. In today's economy I like to support independent businesses. And Steven the barista and the owner. is very polite and very friendly and made in my awesome coffee. They were running a special on Breaky and the coffee. Ended up spinning over an hour there as I was working on a presentation.Thank you much Steven.

It's a family affair at this Balmain Street nook, which is brought to us by Sam and Chelsea. Sam managed to reel his dad in after semi-retiring, along with mum and his partner's sister! Hence the name - home being a reference to the venue feeling like home because you're surrounded by family, and ground alluring to the delicious coffee that's put through the grinder 7 days a week! I love that they have a 'home ground advantage', living across the street from the cafe, and a stone's throw from the MCG. Even better- they're a family of Richmond FC supporters, so they're right at home! Once lockdown ends we'll be able to sit in the modern designed dining area that looks out onto a private garden and pool area for the neighbouring apartments. Locals are already loving the coffee from Symmetry, as well as the opportunity to enjoy quality single-origin beans that rotate weekly. Their current El Salvador Finca Himalaya Natural tastes like Nutella and Baked Apple. There are plans in the works to serve alcohol, with a long term vision to open in the afternoon for footy crowds wanting a hotdog and beer, or a pie and chips before the game.
